ASPHALT AND AGGREGATE PROCESSING
SYSTEMS
This assembly is particularly suited to measuring aggregate temperature of asphalt. It is also suited to measure the temperature of other flowing granular materials such as sand, gravel and pulverized coal. The element is solid 14 gauge, with Porcelain insulation. The end of the protection tube is cut at an angle to both protect the element and allow close contact with the granular material. The tip of the thermocouple can be welded to the end of the tube for greater sensitivity. |
